09/04/2026 – FYI: I will not have access to the blog this weekend. // New blog – kehillah7.com comments… // 1 of 2 – see post 09/23/2026 – 2 of 2 – 10/01/2026 kick off of the 4th read through the Bible in a year in this blog.
When I return on Monday, I hope to “early on” run a test of write access capability for “non-administrator” users. For now, you should be able to get in on read access and also, to run searches. I am confident that the provider “Blue Host” is going to be a vast improvement over “Host Gator”. Looking out say a year forward, we hope to start new blog(s) using AI. Our selection would be the provider “Hostinger” in that case. And good news: It may very well be developed by a rock solid young christian college team in Uganda, many of whom, if not all, major in computer science. (need I add: “extremely adept”)
To put it nicely in understatement, this blog continues to be “substance over form”. Explanation for that: I was a career accountant and the sole developer from the wordpress platform. I am neither a “developer” nor adapt at learning the mechanics of screen navigation. My baby brother, a techie, once conveyed to me: “It is a good thing Microsoft never used you in a test screen, for the screen navigation would all be backward intuitive.” This is an example of the blessing of siblings.
So, as the saying goes: “Thank you for your patience!” For next week and going forward , continue to send your comments, questions and suggestions to “semikhah@google.com”. I sent the new blog notification out on “jimmythebruce@gmail.com” because I had just a few recipients that may have needed my name in the message of the header. But that email is my “junk email” currently. But no worries, for the vast majority of y’all who have my personal email and cell phone number, contact me there.
Again, I would be happy to set up one on one sessions on screen navigation, be it scheduled or “on the cuff”. (brother Mike would insert: “Good luck with that!”) But seriously, once I get it, I got it, it just takes me longer! The humor is that my early accounting career was dominated by supervising small accounting internal system development teams, before “canned” ERP platforms even existed. I was blessed with colleagues who kept me from the “backwards” orientation of screens. lol
Always connected through prayer and by His grace!
Your brother in Christ,
Jimmy
