09/23/2026 – Our next read through the Bible in a year fellowship begins October 5th with Matthew, Chapters 1 -2. See below.
For those of you new to the plan, the schedule is centered upon a 7 day theme throughout the year. The books of the Bible are broken into daily themes that are consistent throughout the year as follows: Monday – Gospel / Tuesday – Law / Wednesday -History / Thursday – The Book of Psalms (all year!) / Friday – Poetry Books / Saturday – The Prophets – Old Testament ending in the last four weeks with the Book of Revelation / Sunday – Epistles.
We can partition the blog into a particular small study group into a separate category, so the group can have their entire posting history together, including comments within that one category. Individually, one can study just a few books , or even one book. And you don’t have to wait until those scriptures roll around. Why? Because we have completed three cycles back to 2021, complete with comments for each reading, so you can use the commentary excerpts to help you to understand and/or question the context of the daily reading. So yes, you can contact me personally at anytime of the year. As noted, I can give you a one-on-one tour of the blog tools and navigation aids over the phone.
FYI: I personally of course, will be engaged throughout the year. But since we have so much commentary over the past 3 cycles, I am going to intentionally focus my personal posts on study questions that assist with group fellowship growth. (Socratic dialogue). But of course, I will continue to enthusiastically join in group post discussions within this plan category! We already have questions in the following books: Jeremiah; Ezekiel and the Book of John. The first two are largely from Warren Wiersbe commentaries.
A repeat endorsement of group bible study blogs:
They can transcend place and time. With internet access, it is global. Time?: Say if someone asks a question on a particular daily bible study post that I made back in 2022, I will get an immediate email informing them of their comment to my original post. So…, we can connect! A consideration in today’s world: You don’t have to vet an outsider website, because you know your small group members.
Contact me anytime via: Semikhah7@gmail.com , My blog administrator email account for https://www.kehillah7.com. If you have my phone number and personal email , use that. If you would like a copy of the daily reading assignments, I will send our pdf file to your email address.
Always connected through prayer and by His grace!
Your brother in Christ,
Jimmy
